This should mean that you can achieve higher position in sponsored listing with your budget through avoiding wasted clicks by customers out of you local area who will be unlikely to buy your local products eg pizza shop, hairdresser. However I have found a problem where IP addresses are not always correctly located eg I live in Glasgow but my IP address is in Manchester..
